Hi everyone I've been learning from you guys since I bought my first home and decided to get an aquarium. My wife loved the koi at the petstore and we got the biggest scolding about putting baby koi in a 75 gallon aquarium. I assured her I would build a pond for them later and my koi journey began. I have lurked on all my favorite koi forums and learned all I could and wanted to show some of the fruits of my labor. I also wanted to give a general thanks to everyone for all the great information.

I never felt like I had anything to add to the forum. Now that I've been doing it for over a year I want to give back with my experience and maybe find some local koi ponders in my area

I wish I would have built it all below ground because it would have been a lot cheaper. I even built one for a coworker just for the love of it and I felt a little jealous.

sissy I was worried about putting too much between me and the pond but now i see i could probably add plants to the back corners. I'm not back there unless i'm screwing with the filter/waterfall. I wish I would have designed the waterfall better but I was on a tight budget at that point and wanted to be finished with it.
