We finally made the last load of rocks today. I now have five pallets stacked and ready for the koi pond. LOL Still have a few plants from the yard to move but I can finally see light at the end of the tunnel. I seriously NEVER want to move again!

I took some shots yesterday of the fish for a pic for photo of the month. Wanted to share a few that I didn't chose to enter.

Looks like you are having fun w/ your new property and it is really looking nice. I enjoy watching you add everything piece by piece. What a nice place you are making for yourself and family. The hisbiscus seeds I planted last yr that you sent all made it through the winter in my garage. I've now placed them outside still in pots.
Hope they do well for you JW, My parent plant is to big to move this year. I was able to transplant two of the babies from last year so I'm hoping I will at leat have a start but if not I may need to try and get some seeds back from you if they don't make it. That's one of the few plants that I wasn't able to move that I really wanted to bring with me, hopefully at least one of the babies will make it here.

I think mine will make it fishin. I used all the seeds up and they sprouted last year when you sent them to me. I kept them in the garage over winter and now they are just starting to bud out w/ little tiny leaves. The tops died most of the way down over winter but the stalks that are left are a few inches tall now. I can send you some little plants and hope they will make it through the mail as tiny as they are or if better to wait and send seed later I can do that also. Just let me know if you would like me to send you some of these now as I have way too many!
Here's what they look like right now:

I just have two leaves per plant, only started them when I started the tomatoes, forgot to water them a few times...........lucky they are tough little critters.

i'll have to take some pics of the ones JW sent, one is really taking off, must be 10" tall and 12-15 leaves already, one of the other ones has about six and a new shoot starting. The last one is just staying like it came. may have grown a little but not much at all. I took a few pics tonight after visiting with a neighbor that has a small pond. Hopefully she is going to let me come give her a hand getting it straightened back up. just needs a little TLC and it should be a really nice little pond.
Also included a few shots of the big pond at sunset. and the first rippening blue berries. yummy!

thank you all, I will be glad when we get the other pond done, That's the one that is taking to much time. My cement guy has come out three times and still not done a thing. Problem is he is the ONLY one that I could even give me a bid to do what i want done. I'll be so glad to get the front yard completely straightened up.

todd here are a few, As you can see, not much done on it so far. I have the pumps, filters skimmers and bottom drains already, still have to order the Cetus sieves, and sequence external pump and having a Bakki shower custom built for the pond. I'm waiting for the pavers and retaining walls to get done and then I'll get in full swing to get it up and running.
