@Kathryn Chambliss And, some of my favorite fish are the "surprise" additions that my fish have given me, LOL! I had a fun experience a couple of years ago when there were several spawns that took place. I caught as many babies as I could and raised them in aquariums (but when they got too big, they had to go outside in 50+ gallon totes). There were about 50/50 Shubunkin and comets. It was interesting to observe the Shubies as they went from "pinks" to developing their various colors.
