Fantastic! That is an easy fix. I had a fold in my bog liner, on the edge, once it started flowing a bunch of water went out fast. Water will find a way if it can!

A quick update to keep all in one post:

I've lost 4 of 9 goldfish. One to the winter, and 3 to a predator to be named later.

I added 2 koi (1 white) purchased at Petland - lost those to a predator

I removed 1 very large bullfrog that may have been eating the fish

I remodeled the waterfall, and added a 2-stage DYI filter system

I added another row of retaining wall, and raised the water level 6" in increase volume to slightly more than 900 gallons (6 ft wide X 8 ft long X 2.5 ft avg depth X 7.7)

I removed 80% of the built up muck of the bottom (rest has plants in it), divided the large lilly root ball into 3 smaller parts and replanted with cat litter in pond baskets I had on hand.

I've since added fifteen 2" koi of different darker colors with the expectation that I may lose some to a predator while I try and figure out what's eating them and adjust the set up more.
I couldn't help myself and added two 4 inch white koi. - One has been eaten, and the other lost most of one of its front fin (has a stub) to something (still trying to figure out what's getting them).

I began planning for a larger 1500-1600 gal pond that would connect by a steep stream/rock pile (liner arrived today) to the current pond. This pond will be 3ft+ at its deepest. This dig will start once the Pergola is finished (wood was delivered today).

I hope so too. We saw the raccoon again last night, but I don't see any missing fish. Still a possibility.

I have confirmed the predictor, and it's name is Bully the Bullfrog. Tonight, while feeding the fish, I witnessed the largest bullfrog float slowly toward the feeding fish, then suddenly lunge at the fish. Relocated him to another location without a direct route back to my pond. I'll do the same thing to the other large bullfrog when I can catch it tomorrow.

I read they hibernate under water, so next year when I net them out, they are being relocated. I found a few and tossed them back in, did not realize they were bullies.

good for you..on the additional pond build. wish i could afford a redo on mine
oh..just a FYI note...your math should be W x L x D x 7.48 = pond volume. not 7.7...... but your still at just under 900 gals (897.6 gals.)
