First of all welcome to the forum.
I suggest you catch this fish and take a better photo using a macro if you have that feature. If it is a parasite you will want to isolate him anyway.

Thank you for the welcome.

The picture was taken for me, unfortunately.

I have attached the only other photo that I have. This Koi is about 30" long and a female breeder.

This thing is in line with back fins and is behind. It appears to raise out of the body about the size of a pencil eraser. If you look closely you can see 2 white tusk like whatever.

It's right next to 2 black areas on right side of back

Here are some better pics of the malady.

Any ideas?

I don't think any of us has seen this before. Can you remove the fish and get us a close up (macro) photo that has more contrast and detail?

Does it look anything like this on my comet? She has had it for 3 years now. I have always assumed it is a tumor. It looks like a mix of raw flesh and white scar tissue.

That is pretty close to what it looks like.

It gets about 1/8" to 1/4" bigger every year but does not seem to affect her yet. I assume that tumors in fish, like humans, can grow at different speeds. That is not the best picture of the spot. But when you look at it closely it looks like there is this growth that looks like an infection. It is bubbled out almost like it is bursting out of the skin. At first I thought it was a parasite attached. But closer examination showed it was like a new growth of just nasty flesh. There looks like darkened blood in it along with flesh. Maybe someone else will chime in with other possibilities. But as soon as I saw your fish, it sure looked like mine.
