Ah yes, the Obedience plant is doing great I got from you here as well. it's been blooming for well over a month in this heat and isn't showing any signs of slowing down. Addy, the King of Siam is one of my favorite true Purple tropicals. Minnow man has some purples i really like as well but his I think are hybrids and the ones I like of his are more two toned and pastel colored. That picture is a small bloom, a large bloom can be a good size flower and have twice as many pedals. Nice lily, hope it overwinters ok for you.

This tropical just sent up its first bloom, it has spent two winters now in the basement. Love that obedience plant even though it is not that obedient! tends to spread lol But sure is pretty when it blooms, good filtering too.

The king of siam, I just planted, it is recovering from shipping and transplant shock lol It just sent up another bloom, should open today.
No clue on the name of this one, it was sent to me a few years back.

Absolutely in love with your purple lily, Addy! I have a deep pink tropical, so plan to gather unique colors, like the one you have. Do you remember how to over winter them? I know to gently remove the tuber and store for winter, but can't remember if you put it in peat, keep it moist, let it dry out, etc. Do you remember? Thanks!

I stick mine in their pots into a tub with water, no air, no water movement, add water if it gets too low. Basement stays around 55 or so, it is furnished but we don't use it a lot, so no heat in the winter.

I can pm you the addy of the gal selling the purple, I will ask her if she has more if you wish. Mine has put up 3 blooms so far

You can tell fall is coming, leaves changing colors, most of the yellow finches are gone for the winter, canadian geese making large v's overhead. Not ready for the snow but sure am ready for cooler weather, 94 today

Wow addy those are lovely pictures of your lilies and you even were able to get great ones of the butterflies on the bushes. Glad the Anacharis is doing well for ya. Hope it didn't have too much algae in it. I'm hoping mine makes it through winter in my pond and that the fishy pigs don't eat it all. Leaves are changing and falling here too and nights are getting cooler.

Hi Addy, I was browsing the threads and saw where someone had a nice list with pics of aquatic plants, but can't find it now. Was that by chance you? I think it even had info on the depth, etc of them

Thank you so much CE, now how do I save it? LOL Don't want to loose it again :)

you can follow it upper right corner just click on follow this topic, then if you click on your name upper right it will be in a list of content / follow

Addy the pictures are so pretty. I need to get some butterfly attracting flowers for my yard.

Everything I plant is bird, bee, butterfly friendly. Our yard is swarming with critters during the summer. I have around 12 or so butterfly bushes all different colors. They start sending up babies here and there. Right now I have a purple and a white that I will most likely move, if you wish I could send you some, doesn't take much to get them going.

Very nice aracharis you got growing Addy, reminds me of my hornwort, kind of looks similar! Very nice purple Lilly too, love that piece of drift wood that you have beside your purple Lilly. :)

It looks like the aracharis you see on ebay, 10 stalks for 11 bucks, hornwort looks like it has longer leaves. I am hoping it does fine, rated down to zone 4. I stuck it in ponds with fish and ponds without fish. Well almost without fish, found some fry in them.
