GBBUDD got me thinking! Your bog can be L shaped or even three sided to achieve the larger size. Or you can build one bigger bog on the left or right side. Just build a wooden frame to support it. Or build one on the left and one on the right. You aren't limited to having it just along the back. You have some choices.

an update. Sorry it’s been a while we had a bereavement, my mother died.
my husband has made the trough , we have bought the liner.
we need to calculate the amount of pea gravel we need and then he has to get the pipes. He’s concerned about the weight of the trough, plus pea gravel plus water as it will be resting on top of the pond.
the dimensions of the trough are
1.9m long x .3 on a metre high x .25 wide
how do I work out how much pea gravel I need ? Is it any particular type please ?
