Last week I promised pictures of my new pond set up. I am now ready to do just that. After my racoon strike this winter I remade my pond cover. Made from black plastic covered steel with 1/2" square wire painted with no toxic paint. Made in two parts one section removable.for parties and replaced to keep our friend the animals out from a late night snack. The pond is 310 gals with a new 500 gph pump from pondmaster, replacing a 220 gph Pondmaster pump. Koikeepr designed barrel 30 gal with store bought bulkheads. Sealants did not work for me. 2" hose ,Matala Pre-filter, Air hose and large air stone on side with float valve. 1" wide air vent across the top of the barrel providing for air, and keeping the leaves out of the barrel. Power inside garage with wires inside pipe. Pillar made from 1/2 trash can filled with 300 pounds of cement with wooden formers. Boxwood plants to hide the barrel in time. Lined with Vermont marble and Mexican stone. I will try to post a video soon.
