I'm thrilled to find a forum for pond owners! My pondless friend's eyes start to glaze over when I go on a little too much about my pond and my beloved Goldfish!
I moved to the Sacramento California area 3 years ago and inherited a pond that I knew nothing about. I did some research, stocked with small feeder goldfish (who are no longer small!!) and some aquatic plants.
There have been many ups and downs and I have learned through trial and error. But I love my pond.
I couldn't be more excited to have a community who understands how very much I love my fish (when a couple died this past spring I was inconsolable-one of my friends said she would take me to a pet store to replace them-I was dumbfounded-she has four dogs and two cats but couldn't understand my loving my fish? Hmmmmm.
