Either they are black birds flying at night or there is something wrong w/ my being able to view it. I have had problems w/ viewing some pix here lately too so it's prolly on my side. Everything is black!

That was cool! Amazing how they fly in such tight groups without flying into each other. Kind of looked like a huge school of fish swimming in the ocean but in flight.

they are starlings, they are quite well known for these large flock displays, we see them quite a lot here,

I see starlings here in large flocks, but never doing a display like that, so neat

Addy thats because you are used to your friend the heron .Has he been back lately or has he gone to warmer pastures to wait it out .

Starlings here too in large flocks all over the yard but nothing compared to that bunch! Think of the doo doo on your roofs......or if you happen to walk outside under them all and whatever you do don't open your mouth in awe when you look up
