hey haro have a look at this link regarding what i was saying about feeding pidgeons in my home town whitehaven, i didnt realise it extended to all bird life, this was in 2006 ! so its been inforce for nearly 6 years.

Mogsie; yes, I can certainly understand their point. We have hundreds if not thousands of Canada geese on the Lake Ontario waterfront, and it seems every year more of them elect to stay over winter instead of migrating to the sunny south. Feeding them only encourages them, and the mess they make is unbelievable! Harming them in any way is out of the question, and when the authorities tried oiling the eggs to prevent them hatching, the animal rights groups claimed it was the same thing as abortion! I like animals, but what about my human rights to walk on a beach free of a layer of slick bird crap? John
