ok so this is my pond ! it measures 10 feet x 8 feet at its widest point, and a 3 depths it is 18" shallow end, 24" middle depth and a deep end of 1 metre.
now i just need to wait for all the plants to grow,

Your pond looks lovely and your plants will fill in nicely when the nice weather arrives and you head to your local plant nursery. Bring lots of money cuz it'll cost ya

around the pond is filled with hosta's,ferns, pampas grass and sedges, oh and a japanese maple acer tree, just waiting for them to come to life, thanks jw

Very nice mogsie, all my plants are sleeping right now too, except the evergreens. You might want to put a few low growing evergreens around to have some color and texture when all else is winter sleeping.

We hauled a few truck loads of rock from our land in pa. Then also bought 5 pallets of rock, each 3500 lbs or so, then around 3800 lbs of river rock..............and still need some more rock.

yes i seen the photos addy, that was a LOT of rock !!
luckily for me the stone supplies are locally abundant and free !!

mogsie, rocks and plants make the pond look great. Adds a natural slant to it.

Nice pond mogsie, and it will look wonderful when the plants come back to life! Addy1, I'm interested in that bog garden too. I have a small bog area right now that didn't have much in it when we got here and I'm looking to add to it. I want a few pitcher plants too, as they are actually native to this area.

We bought about 5,000$ worth of rock so far and STILL NEED MORE...... its unbelievable i cant stand how much rock i need lol but after this summer the rock work will be complete and then all i have to do is sit back and relax and listen to the falls
