Lucky you sissy! We have 3 hibiscus plants one white/pink and red with lots of blooms about to pop...took them long enough.

I have these and after they flower I collect the seeds have them everywhere .The are called hollyhocks

Very pretty sissy. I think I may have had those at one time and the wind came and blew them all down :lol:

I get tons of seeds just gave some to a neighbor this morning she keeps seeing them and was wondering what they .Her and her husband just bought the house down the road 3 weeks ago

I love hollyhock, but our winds are so darn strong, not sure I have a place they could grow well enough.

I have a lot of strong winds up here on the hill but they have yet to fall over ..I did safe guard mine in some spots by putting 2 stakes in and bending a wire coat hanger and stapling it onto the stakes and the holly hock just grows up and around it and they stay up even in the wind and rain storms we get

You can even use rebar and wrap wire around it and they will stand up and grow around it

My mom used to grow those by the cattle barn and they would grow huge! I dont remember them ever falling over with the winds we used to get out there

Your probably better off bringing them in, down here I can drop them down in the deep end of the pond and they will come back, but IF we get ice it's rarely more than just a paper thin layer along the sides.
