The good - having another fanatic close by.

The bad - having another fanatic close by.

The ugly - me building a moving water pond. It's been in our think about stage for ten years. Just a few goldfish. I have a concrete 4'x6'x10" pond. I can deepen it to 16" with the liner currently in it. Will this be a large enough tank to make it worth doing? What's the latest greatest liner material? I used 40 mil EDPM last pond.

I like the bend tarp and liner, ppl24 or 36, it is some tough stuff, others like the firestone epdm.

It is mainly a personal preference.

LOL Thinking seriously about building a Lily only pond!
EPDM 45 mil liner is what I used, I want to see what the roofing company charges for the lineres or see if I am going to use a piece of the swimming pool liner when we replace it.

I have a 1000 gallon tub may convert to a lily pond, but it is in a high leaf area, but maybe that won't matter with no fish. Thinking on it. The lilies are so pretty. Would have to make it so critters could get out, the neighbors dog fell in, luckily we were home.

LOL, Be careful! I took one look at Dan's lilies yesterday and I've been either here or looking at water lily varaties all day for my wish list. This pond is growing in size by the hour! LOL
