I do love when it pours at night and then dries up by morning to sunshine. Love the sound of pounding rain just not oh my head!

Yeah but you should see them react to thunder, they dive deep every time it rattles.

So does Buster my dog. Do you remember those beds that you could out a quarter in to make them shake? I have that. Just add Buster and some thunder. He pants so hard he makes the bed shake. And not in a sexy way either. In a freaked out dog way.

Oh you have a dog T? Well does he have full run of the backyard from daylight to dark? Cuz if so you won't have to worry about the heron then. But if he's not out there guarding all the time then the bird could catch him off guard some days. My cat will chase the heron also. If your dog or cat isn't out there all the time then get a pig or a goat to be out there 24/7. Your hubby will really like it that I suggested this idea

I've tried everything but drugs. Hugging him, the huggable jackets, putting animal planet on... Nothing works he just hates it. I feel terrible when it happens because there nothing I can do and he drools like a water spigot.

chewable children tabs, melt in you mouth type. 1 mg/1 lb weight. IE our 5 lb yorkie gets 5 mgs. You can also use the liquid stuff. Squirt in the mouth.

It calms her, makes her a little sleepy
