It can only happen to a Dad
But it made a perfect end to our day it really did
Val and I had decided to stay at the Morrison Store cafe on tuesday this week after our regular shop.
Whilst Val and I sat at the table reserved for people with disabilities for a well earned rest before going home, three tables up from us Sat a young couple a Grandfather and a daughter aged about 3.
Part way through our meal there was a pearcing scream that only little girls of that age do , then a "it's your fault you did it take her away and fix it now"......
Off the Father went with his screaming child en-tow, thankful the assault to our ears had gone away we settled back to our meal .
A minute later and from the Mother gales of histericval laughter....this confused us all, so all faces turned to the red faced young Mum in expectant thral .
She explained that earlier they had bought her a gingerbread man and whilst she was admiring it her Daddy had[

then

] bitten the head off of the poor gingerbread man , and as punshment for upsetting their daughter he had to take her to buy a new one .
Mind the sheepish look of Dad when they got back and the triumphant look from Mum had us all laughing
