Hi everyone, I Just wanted to know if anyone had any good ideas for diy waterfall spillway covers and ideas for covering an external pond pump, something to keep the natural look of the environment. Yes I know they sell the hollow fake rocks and I have considered that but not really wanting to spend that much money on one and would rather make something myself. Thanks in advance. Here’s a few of my most recent pictures

Absolutely beautiful!
Not sure how you would cover the spillway.
I looked all around and dont see the pump.
Anyway...
With all that decking, I'm thinking you might be handy with wood.
I built a small wooden house to protect my aerator pump. It took me maybe 1/2 an hour with some scraps of wood I had laying around. Maybe you can do something like that to cover your external pump. You can get fancy and paint windows and a door on it. I just stained mine brown.
Hey, maybe you can build a miniature deck or dock over the spillway. It can also block the side of the bog trough.

Thank you,yea the pump isn’t in the pictures but I had the same thought about building something out of wood to cover it. I have a settling tank(55 gallon drum 3/4 buried) in between the bottom drain and pump but that’s kinda my plan to build a small dock out of a pallet around it and make the decking on a hinge where I can open it for maintenance and sit a little fishing boy on the dock to conceal the settling tank so I will probably come up with something similar for the pump

It sounds like you have some good ideas and have the knowledge/experience to implement them.
I built that simple little wooden house for my aeration pump and it has lasted many years. (The house and the pump!)

Great looking set up. Get to sawing and nailing!

I would add more rocks to your waterfall area until the spillway is covered, the edge seen in the picture. If you stack them well you could then put some rocks on the edge of the spillway tub, at least in the front.

Not sure of spacing for that tub to the sides and back, but keep adding rocks eventually you could have the entire thing covered.

Thank you. Yea I plan on adding more rocks and I enclosed the side by the deck with some fence slats,so it’s mainly just the front that needs to be hidden now ,you’re probably right ,that if I just add more rocks it will hide most of it
