I think it's good you're waiting till the morning. You can rest a bit and think about it over night. Whew....what a day!!

Not what I had planned, we have a leaking window I was working on, it took back seat to the pond leaking!

addy, this is similar to the one I use;

you can test out how low the float has to hang in the water before cutting off the pump and then, adjust for the level you want. I just tie it back up on the bank.
Michael

Thanks I will get one next trip, which sometimes is every other day.

At least you were on top of things :)

Dave
When we travel I usually dial in once a day just to do a quick glance at the bees and pond, certain views tell you a lot in seconds.

Update:

The pond is now around 3 times bigger. Used all the room I had.

Darn heavy epdm, much prefer my ppl liner, but didn't want to wait for it to be shipped.
This one worked a 10x15, used the width, had to cut off some of the length.

Got the edges rocked.

Put the lilies, tads, critters back into the pond

I think those float switch's are just made to make a sump pump go on and would they work the reverse way .Would they make a pump go off ?

thanks all the frogs are happy. I put one of the purple lilies in it. See how it does with the slow flowing warmer water. It has 4 buds on it right now.
