What does your pond look like ... Today?

This morning. Last night I had 3 lilies blooming and something purple in the bog.
Now I need to mow.

I tried mowing but winds gusting up 40mph that was a nightmare i was covered in grass and could hardly see what i was doing .even ran into a tree

Me too! It seems like just yesterday the whole yard was baked in the sun all summer long and now we actually have some shade. I'm now trying to learn about shade plants, something I never had to consider in the past

We've just lost two big trees this week. One to the Emerald Ash Borer and the other to a storm. It's shocking how "naked" the area by our pond is I'm trying to figure out something for shade this summer!

Sorry to hear that. Have you looked at shade sails? I really like them and they don't litter like trees LOL.

It hit 80 degrees here yesterday - a record for April 7th in the Seattle area. It should be back to normal (sixties) by the weekend.

Just ordered my new pump and 1 of my new filters for the "Great Rebuild of 2016".
Super excited.
And Red, I just love your pond. The maple is stunning. The rocks.... *sigh.. It's just lovely.

Yes, this is what we're thinking of. I understand there is an art to hanging them properly, with the correct tension, so will study up on that!
