Wow what a great idea for my hot tub that gets less and less use every year
We use ours constantly, love the hot tub. This one broke so when we replaced it, we had them put it on the lower concrete pad.

Blue Flag Iris opened up in my bog.

I used to have a blue flag iris way back in 1991. I put it beside my yellow flag iris cause I thought the blue and yellow flowers would look stunning together side by side.... Not sure what happened but never ever got blue flowers again and now all I now have is the yellow flag water iris...

Our little hot tub pond, pea green to begin with. There are lilies in there.View attachment 111324

I added a tiny pump in the lower corner. Now look at it.
You should put guppies and plady fish in there. That would be perfect home for them!

All the pots have fertilizer in them. The lilies are growing great. I need to get some fantails.

Looked out, the ponds pump was not running. Dear hubby reset the breaker that immediately tripped. I went out, found the problem.

The small stream pump is fried. I am glad it has been so wet, we could have had a bad fire. The check valve may have failed, been raining all day so have not checked to see if there is water still in the line. This pump is on a timer, it feeds the deck pond which is xxx feet of head pressure away.

I have not touched it, it appears to have somewhat exploded.
The last picture is the melted tote. I am going to groom all plants away from the pump.

Not good! Sure was a good thing it has been wet. Good idea keeping plants away from any pump in the future.
