My redheaded fish, seen here in April, has been missing for days. I saw it last either on Wednesday or Thursday. Wonder what happened to it.

Wow Addy- That's a mess. Glad it didn't damage anything else. Seems we are all having issues this year with something or other. So now from home remodeling to pond plumbing!

I went out and checked it, the check valve is fine, there is water in the line. So it did not freeze up. Must have just decided to die. In the process it melted/caught fire. We have a spare just not hooked up yet, on our list. I want to groom all the plants first. Clean the area up first.

It was a harbor freight clear water pump, handles the head pressure. Been running for about 4 years, not 24/7 since it is on a timer.

So now from home remodeling to pond plumbing!

Dressed up the hot tub pond a bit. Added plants from the other ponds. Put in a bird bath type pan with the water flowing over it. Nobody has taken a bath yet.

Pond #1. Waterlilies were repotted this year and are slow in starting off. The bog is finally greening up and I think I have finally found where I have been losing water! The area below the bog has been a holding area for fish to be rehomed. Now planning on using it for the parrotfeather and a couple of other trailing plants. Total fish count is 3 adults and 9 1-2 year olds. Hopefully none of the eggs from last months spawn made it. This will be a big enough load by next year. Filtered by 11x2' bog, Savio waterfall filter & 2 55gallon upflow filters.
