We want to see the very first, there is something under all that white picture. The first ground to show up, or the first liquid water seen in your pond.

Here we go!:)

These are a couple of shots from the other side of the pond today, looking back up towards our driveway.

This is a shot looking down on the 2 breathers, and beside the right one, you can actually see the pond bottom!
I drilled a test hole between the 2 breathers yesterday, 10 inches of ice. The breathers are actually sitting on top of an ice shelf.
With some strong sunshine, they should be floating in water in a few days.:)

Good Grief Mitch, you are have a pile of snow to go! Your elevation must also have something to do with that too. must cool off quick because all that snow act's like a freezer and is keeping your pond from melting. I would shovel off that snow if possible, then the sun can shine of the ice and melt it faster. Did you know that snow takes much longer to melt than ice?

Well don't say that Keith we need more than a month to revive from the winter :)
I think you got your months mixed up or am I missing something? Isn't this April? We don't want to do March over again!
