I don't mind cold if there is no wind ,but here there always seems to be wind .Don't mind snow either because here it melts in a day or 2

Yes, the ice is 10 inches thick.
2 inches less than last year.

Drove home in a downpour last night. The freeway had dangerous amounts of water running over it! Woke this morning to light snow and the promise of dropping temps.
I don't like dropping temps, done with the winter thing already.

45 degrees and rising here. I'm definitely liking this El Nino winter. I just went out to take a good look at the pond (which is impossible to do when I get home from work in darkness this time of year). I shut off the waterfall to calm the water and saw we lost at least 2 of the koi fry so far this winter, so I have to get back outside later and do some scooping. :/ I think that leaves us with maybe 4 or 5 fry... a friend of ours took half of them in the fall for their much bigger pond.

oh no this is the last season of hometime on tv 29 years of there help in my remodels and got to meet them .I have been watching this old house since 70's and even got to meet Bob Villa and Norm Abrams at the Garden State Center .My son was 3 and started yelling Bob Villa's name out and he came to talk to him and so did Norm .If it had not been for Bobs this old house I would not have been able to remodel my first house a 110 year old bungalow back in 1968

No rain and I found the pot of gold while walking! Looks like a car wrecked in the ditch awhile back and I stopped and picked it all up.
