More storms heading for Maryland and Virginia! Our canopy on the deck got trashed last night and tree limbs down everywhere. My elephant ears in my window bog boxes got tipped over. Pic from before storm.

Went to North Bay, Ontario Friday last for a fishing trip.

Got there at 12 noon on Friday (2.5 hr. drive) and it started raining as soon as we got there.

It rained until 7pm on Saturday for a grand total of 31hrs of non-stop rain. Good thing I had the cover on the boat, I don't like to get the boat wet.o_O.

Out for a fish at 7pm for 2 hours.........7 walleye, 9 smallies, 2 pike, 4 cats and a sheephead.

Hoping not too bad. Looks like we are not going to get anything but these storms pop all over the place with this heat. Not replacing my canopy till this is over!

I had I think just over 6" in 4 days here, but finally ended yesterday. Beautiful day today, in the mid 80's with much lower humidity, which was much appreciated. Grass needs to be mowed pretty bad, but I absolutely refuse to leave muddy tire tracks over most of the year, since it's still so darn wet. Maybe tomorrow night. I'll just have to mow it extra high and mow it again this weekend. Rain expected on Sat.,but Sunday going to be sunny!

It's been fairly hot last few days but should rain tonight. Don't really need the rain cause blood sucking little Vampire bugs sucking my blood and follow me and puppies in house!!

But the big bananas look so awesome these days, dispite that wind storm last month that broke some big leafs off.

I'm hoping everything is ok with Addy- I see Frederick got hit with storms again last night. We needed the rain but could have done without winds and lightening.

We survived the 4th night of horrendous storms! wind, rain, torrential rain, our house will never flood, luckily.

The thunder and lightening we have been having has been unreal!

Thanks for thinking of me @mrsclem

The yellow jackets were out early this year. They invaded my blueberry bushes and wiped them out! I got stung 4 times by blueberries with the yellow jackets inside the berries!

All i know is it hurts! My bees never hurt this bad. Can't even use my hand. I checked for yellow jackets flying, thinking ground nest but didn't see any flying.

Poor hubby thought he would need to run me to the er. He said i was too pale.
