The snow has let up here... it looks like we got about an inch this afternoon, just enough to muck up the roads for rush hour and add to the massive snowpiles outside from the blizzard. Now we're in for cold weather again for the next few days (low of -2 tomorrow night!), but 20s/30s again by the weekend.

It was a beautiful 43 degrees and sunny here today! Tomorrow, 40 and maybe an inch of snow. Then down to high of 26 on Thurs, and back up to 43 on Friday, and 53 on Saturday!!! Can we say roller coaster??? I wish it would stay cold, then gradually warm up, rather than seeing the 50's and teens in the same week. Illinois .... Not used tank heater on the horse's water trough all year, though, and only plugged in pond heaters for a total of maybe 3 days. I'm loving that!!!

43 today! Tomorrow, 40. back up to 43 on Friday, and 53 on Saturday!!! !

I'd kill for a few days in the 40°s and 50°s! It would at least put a small dent the huge snow piles we have. Highest temp I see in the next week is 32°F

Freezing cold -24 Celsius (-11 Fahrenheit) . Sleepy little Rio not happy about this extreme cold and missed the "p" pad this morning... Good thing she has "Mommy wrapped around her paw"!!
Let's hope this is Old Man Winters last stand!!!

18°F, -3°F tonight. The temps will be staying cold all week, and a few chances of snow this weekend and early next week.

Nice here again but darn winds .Have to ask any one on here ever get a company to spray foam any thing .I found profoam company here and for my friends crawl space he quoted a price of 875 dollars for an 1 1/2 of closed cell foam on for a space app.36 by 30 ft crawl space .Is this really a good price .He is only doing the walls of the crawl space for now .The floor is insulated and house they will live in for only a couple of months until new house is delivered .But seems the crawl space is cold which is transferring up the side walls .They just need it warmer for now .

Is that foam hazardous to your health to breath? I thought I heard something about it being toxic but don't quote me on that. Maybe there are different kinds.

the one he uses is the soy kind but there are several kinds .I could not find anything on the profoam sight .All they say is that it is soy based and non toxic .So not sure

They said the same about margarine when it first came out, and back then it was fully hydrogenated!

and way way back they covered up that asbestos was killing people too for over 50 years...

The only reason I told them it may be ok is if it is soy based since that grows in fields and we drink soy milk ,but I was not sure that was a good price .They could buy foam core board but at 38 dollars a sheet for 4x8 sheets and then the glue you have to use could add up .There are some kinds that are bad .My hubby has to use margarine because he stomach butter or butter products .Geeze coca cola is now going to make milk ,it was just on the news .I hate soda so why would I ever drink there so called milk
