Just rain here but 35 out so maybe some freezing rain. Hope it stops soon. Have Am-vets coming to pick up old kitchen furniture. New will be here tomorrow so have to get paint in kitchen touched up.
We used Turbo-tax. Not too much problems but first time dealing with my pension and a new IRA. Got a refund which just covered the cost of the new washer and dryer. I thought our 35 page tax return after my father passed was bad but we also had 2 returns to file for him as well as my sister. $250. each. Seems like that was a bargain.

lol I am chicken, They do a good job, I have been using them for 15 years now, I just spend a few weeks getting the stuff together, ship it back to arizona, get an email with the data in a week or two after. Rentals retirement depreciation on and on, just don't want to deal with it all.

Getting a nice cover of snow, but it will melt later or when we hit 55 tomorrow............. 32 right now.

I am considering finding someone to do out taxes next year but after 20 years of bookkeeping, I don't know if I trust anyone!
Tax guy we had for estate was retired but still doing taxes for the lawyer so was glad to have him. After dealing with all the oil companies, he completely retired from doing taxes!
Supposed to be 60 here tomorrow!

It is a cpa firm, recommended to me by my broker. They have done a good job for me in all of the changes I have gone through, death, moving, remarriage, retirement mine and his. Rentals on and on. They may be expensive, but I rather pay then make mistakes. I read the book they send me and a lot of it makes me scratch my head. They are in arizona, I have kept them as they do such a good job.

It is BEAUTIFUL out there, snow sticking to everything. beautiful snow fall, even though it is supposed to be spring.

Pretty but you can keep it. Went out to put furniture out for donation and decided to test wood ramp going up into shed. Good thing, solid ice! Good thing I had cleaned out woodstove so had ashes.

It is a wet fluffy snow, great for snow balls! We are up to around 3 inches currently. Sticking to everything, the small ponds now have a slush covering, snow ice mix.
Glad I got the ice broken up on the big pond, yesterday, the aerator is making enough water movement to keep it liquid. The net is sinking a little but it will bounce back when it melts.

Oh man, the snow is pretty, Addy, but bet you are hoping it goes away fast, and that spring shows up soon in your yard. Bet you have quick spring, it comes fast and shows itself very pretty there. My daffodils are just about ready to bloom, probably this weekend. 56 today, 66 and partly cloudy tomorrow, 59 on Sunday and mostly sunny. Yep, I'll take that for first 3 days of Spring!!! Dogs will love being outside today and this weekend, too.
I never would have attempted to do my taxes, because H & R Block did pages and pages ... I found out I can attach the stock dividend 1099B to the form, and not have to type anything! But, this year, only one transaction (most of my stuff is now in my Roth IRA), so I typed it in. When I was married, former husband had business, depreciation, gain/loss, etc. and I would probably not have been enticed to even try it. But, I figured I should be able to do this myself.

It is real pretty, our daffodils are around 5 inches tall with buds showing. The crocus are in full bloom, well covered with snow right now.
It will be gone tomorrow, we are heading back up to 57. So a last day of winter first day of spring snow storm. They spring is not officially here until 6pm or something like that.

I love snows like this, come and go snow.............

That makes way more sense, then, that your bulbs are up like mine. I thought you were usually right ahead of me in spring bulbs blooming. Sounds like this weekend you will have more flowers, too. I do remember seeing your bees on flowers last weekend, come to think of it. :)

I see your pretty snow @addy1 and it looks like it is still coming down some.

Cloudy day here now w/rain and some sun scheduled. We had a break in at our rental yesterday. They broke out a small window in doors to the master bdrm and reached in and opened the door. The guy who lives there, a retired fireman lost his credit cards and a tablet. That's all they took. They left two big screen nice tv's etc. Funny thing is the thieves came in w/2 big dogs living there loose in the house that bark their heads off whenever we go over there. Guess they are willing to take a chance that dogs don't bite. Fortunately the fire man had renters insurance for his stuff but we have to pay for the damage to the window/door. Hopefully it isn't that bad.
