What is your weather like ... today

I saw a few of those banana plants around the hort society tours this year but they looked pretty sad.
Can you bring those inside for the winter?

I remember long time ago when I was still in the Army, doing a summer exercise out on the base, in August, and it snowed! That was way back about 25 years ago I think..

Sissy says I can frost off the leaves and trim back and bring in 4 winter. Will try and will let you know.

They were predicting us to get 1-3" of rain couple of days ago ... got nothing. Doing fine with the 1.4" got last weekend, though, so I'm happy.
Mowed last night, and man the yard looks gorgeous this morning in the sunshine!

Gee, we've had a nice 2-3 break in the heat, along with some much needed rain. It was nice, but still humid when I was out a little while ago. 75F and 89% humidity. Pond temp. was 81F yesterday -- much better than the 91 a month ago. Forecast is for some 90's over the next week, but I'm sure hoping this is the cooling trend for rest of the season.

Yep.

It's raining now and the temperature has been dropping all day. 38F now.
Forecast says we'll get snow by tonight, then up to the 70's next week.
I'll try to send some cool weather down south to you folks!

Ok now I'm not a math major but doesn't that mean you will get 4 months of "snow freedom"??? I..... I just.... I can't even..... I mean I'm still getting mad at people on facebook when they start posting all the pumpkin latte stuff for fall... AND OUR FALL IS LIKE IN THE 50'S??
I'm totally freaking out for you right now.
And I will try to send some of our sunshine and heat up to you, maybe we can meet in the middle, say the mid to high 70's?
