it is coming that way with ice behind it .They are saying ice could be 3 to 5 inch's on the weather channel .I shoveled for awhile .Then mail lady came

Storm just getting here. Have driveway and sidewalks treated with ice melt so hopefully won't have to shovel too much. Calling for 18" here and hubby has gone off to work and probably won't be home till Sunday night. Got clearance from doctor to shovel snow but not planning on doing so! Still have pumps running in both ponds and monitoring, (thank goodness for camera system).

@mrsclem are you south of addy cuz I just looked at her camera's and she has no snow coming down where she lives in Md. Guess it is on the way. We have to go shopping today but when I get back I will look again.

@addy1 sorry you are going to miss the snow show but happy you can still watch from afar.

Calling for snow in my neighborhood also, but still in the 40's. That kind of snow doesn't bother me... I hope you guys don't suffer too awfully over there, ice can be brutal.

Well foot of snow here and winds picked up a little and some freezing ice pellets that hurt .Shoveling out but as fast as I do it seems it gets covered back up .Shoveled the decks and around the heat pump .We are under storm watch until 6 am sunday .Then going up to mid 40's again .Snow is getting heavier to pick up and sticking to the shovel and hard to get off .I am exhausted so rest time .24 degrees right now but feels colder

jw- yes, south of Addy, still expecting 12-18" of snow. Ice coming on top of that. temps coming up on Mon. & Tues. so hopefully whatever we get will melt fast. Snow coming down fast now.

Over a foot of snow and probably no snow plows on my road until tonight or tomorrow since special report said that plows were having a hard time keeping the highways even clear .Winds have gotten a little stronger ,Temps. have dropped to 21 degrees

Had a light dusting of snow today. Thankful I'm not getting the snow out East.

It got up to 50 here today and they say rain may be coming.
I've never seen it rain in January.

our bad day is today and winds have picked up even more and hail and ice now .Snow was getting to heavy for me to shovel

Hang on all you people back east of us. I just got home and looked at addy's camera's and the snow is starting to pile up. Looks like sissy has a head start on some of you.
