You can check out you tube they have pics of all kinds of filters and maybe you can find one you really like or think of a way you can make your own .

I've searched youtube so many times that I'm finding the ones I've already seen. It's making my head hurt.

I was asking JohnHuff to post some photos of his setup to help me understand how the setup works. I kind of understand the concept, just know how to actually construct one. I'm assuming his replay of "Oh Well" was for me leaning towards building one similar to yours and not his, I guess.

yeh I have looked at them on you tube also and confuses me also .I find pond pumps just as confusing .I know some one awhile back posted a trickle filter on here in pond construction or equipment .I just find the easier and cheaper you go the easier it is to change later .I have changed to bigger filters but for 11 years used the same media because it is cheap and works for me so why fix what works for me .It may not work for every one .I even used the same for my big fountain in NJ .I had no clue and only had goldies my son won at the fair .
