My little dinky pond with two fantail goldfish. The pic on the left is a plant that i can't identify anyone know what it is?

Sunshine may be right, those leaves may not be wide enough for taro

What made me think Pickerel was the long stems that appear to go out to blooms. Does it have purple, white or pink blooms at the end of long stems? The blooms are small and along the stem. The bees, bumblebees and hummingbirds love them in my pond.

It looks like pickerel rush, when you compare pictures to ones found on the net
