Filter for a 1.5 hp motor 83 GPM

Hi everyone, so I have a raised concrete fountain/water feature. We have a 1.5 hp pool pump that works perfect as far as being enough pressure to make the water feature work. Is there a recommendation for a filter that will work with a 1.5 hp pump and 83gpm flow rate? Sand filters I’m looking at are so very big

Do you have plants and or fish in your water feature?
If not, why not just add chlorine like you would do with a pool?

it's not the vhp and or gph its volume of water and how many times in an hour that the pond is cycled
