I had two green frogs earlier this spring. They hung out until the toads showed up, then they left. The toads have been trilling all night and day, driving us crazy. Same thing happened last year. The toads came, made a gazillion tadpoles, then left. Once the toadtads were gone the frogs came back. Hopefully they'll do the same this year!

Cute jw, nice froggies. I have tadpoles and eggs everywhere, already see a bunch of small, tiny toads hopping around about 1/4 inch in size

The bottom picture he is brown and is sitting sideways right above the edge of that black tube on a rock and he's looking to the right. He right in the center. Hard to see I know as I had to look good when I first looked at the picture but I knew I had seen him in the camera view window!

Mucky, did you see him wink at you? That was really cute, and no wonder you feed him, doubt he could catch food on his own. Clumsy is right. LOL
Woohoo, tad is becoming a frog. I have seen no tadpoles from the bullfrogs yet. Last year when I was reworking the plant bog, I found some 3" tadpoles, so maybe they are late this year, too. Tons of toad tads, saw them on the bottom of the goldfish pond floor. Still want to spot a fish baby in the lilies one of these days .... :)
