Since I had to wait so long before being able to actually plumb and run the pump(s)... my vault (and basin) collected about a foot of rain water, which I just discovered now has mosquitoe larvae in it.

I'm about to finally fire up one of the pumps. I know mosquitoes need standing water to breed, but not sure if the water will moving inside the basin and vault enough to help.

Is there anything I can add to the water to kill them? Or should I not worry about it?

Once they water is moving you won't have that issue. But drop a dunk or two in and that'll take care of the ones that are already there.

The absolute last place you will breed mosquitos is the pump vault . Water is moving to fast for them now if you have condensation on the walls there's little you can do
