Hello. I have a pond in my front yard about ten feet in diameter. Nothing fancy. No liner or anything. Just a hole in the ground that collects the rain water. I wanted to spruce it up a bit this year. I don't want to do anything drastic just something to make it nice. It's about two or three feet deep. When there's not much rain the water level lowers a bit. I have tons of frogs which I love but no fish. I was wondering if I could put some small feeder type fish in there? And I want to put a simple pump for a sprayer in there to move the water a bit. I have no experience in ponds but I do keep a fresh and saltwater aquariums. So give you your guys advice and take on what I should do to spruce it up a bit without too much cost. I also wanted to add some water lilies for the frogs

Stick with goldfish, they are real tough. Sounds like a nice natural pond.

You can find a fountain type pump that will move the water.

Being a natural pond, once the water is moving, it will be murky and never clear up, that said, a pump is a good idea to maintain water quality.
