We have a large pond (4600 gal) and a small pond (around 300 gal) with water quality factors consistently equal and healthy between the two… here’s my question…

Is it better to have koi, goldfish, and guppies together in the big pond …

or is it better to keep them separate with goldfish and Guppies in the little pond and koi and guppies in the big pond?

We originally thought the small pond would be for turtles but soon discovered turtles go wherever the heck they want! ;)

Doesnt really matter,, but if you don’t want the koi and goldfish interbreeding that is the way to go. As long as the koi aren’t in the small pond all is good no matter what you choose.
