Thanks Patty, thanks Colleen, yea thats my sunroom, I built it with rustic lumber to look like a hunting lodge, in fact heres the ceiling, Im really proud of the way it turned out --it was old barn wood from my grandfather and great grandfather's Tractor shed. Anne does what she wants in the rest of the house and I do what I want in the Sunroom, although I have to be constantly on gaurd or she starts trying to girly-fy it, LOL

Driftwood I found from the mississippi river at Alton Il.---it looked like a snake, so I crudely carved a snake head on it, then took an old pipeline sign they had thrown away at work (somebody had shot it) and made the snake to look like it was comming thru the shot up sign.

Barn wood and wood from the dan river mill and the old cotton underwear mill in Mayodan NC is hot here right now .Plenty of stuff here that also drives the price down on reclaimed wood

Spring is here--even if its a wet cold one here in Illinois. I got started with transplanting moss out of our timber and placing it around the pond in a couple places, so far I like it--put its gonna be a big job if I do decide to replace all of my rock garden areas mulch with moss. Thinking of adding timber ferns and lily of the vally along with more hostas for the most natural pond setting I can get.

Looks like that moss has made itself at home nicely where you planted it. Love all your nice photo's of your pretty place. You did such a wonderful job on all your remodeling. Are the heron staying away?

don't trust them, by the time you think they are not coming back, they come back.
