We have a bazillion chipmunks @bagsmom - they've never chewed any liner. They just like getting a drink from the pond. And messing with the seeds I plant. And taking chunks out of almost ripe tomatoes. And generally making me crazy. But liner? Never.

This year I have American Redstart and Evening Grosbeak at the feeders, they too tend to stay up high in the trees

I saw lot of chipmunks last year this year none.
I hope to see way less than last year! Don't get me wrong I love the little critters, but last year I just had too many!
They left behind so much destruction, trances allover the place they killed so many plants

The Chipmunk chewed my liner in several different spots in 2016, they were the reason I had to redo the pond

Weird. I have tons of chipmunks but never any destruction of any kind from them. I love having them around.

I’ve been out picking up turtles! I rescued a three toed box turtle off a road, and will be releasing it in the field away from my dogs soon. And I found a baby red eared slider I think I’ll grow out to put in the pond. If I have my way, the wild ones will find it anyway, so I’d just be starting the turtling early!
