Question about bottom drain to gravity fed settlement filter vs. a pump with pond pump with strainer

2in bulheads are a LOT cheaper.... thus I T's the 4in pipe which hopefully will not cause problems in the future.....

My other pond uses 4in from the koi toilets to the vortex, but that vortex came with two 4in bulkheads
