What does your pond look like ... Today?

Just received my tubers from play it koi as well. What is your process for planting them ? i tried once before and failed but i did not realize if the sprouts broke off and were submerged that the plant would drown. a bizarre plant for sure.

Mine are sending up leaves, how are yours doing? I see fine white roots growing.

one is growing like a weed but we will see i planted them yesterday and i did not use fertilizer tabs i used -10-10-10 and bone meal no idea how much to use but saw they love fertilizer and to double amounts so we will see. One doubled the amount of shoots and leaves forming from the shoot. the other was forming a couple start of leaves but no where near as much as the other.

we will see if i over dosed the ferts or not enough . i used large oil pans and covered the bottom sparily and then clay and bone meal more ferts sprinkled across the top and mixed in so we will see
