What is your weather like ... today

My son suggested it because the steps from the front porch can get slippery and he said you are not getting any younger and I sure don't want to get a call saying you fell down the steps .You can also buy a wireless one now .I saw it on the internet .Not sure how well it would work in colder weather .

That's the nice thing about this house--no stairs outside. The stairs INside, though...the previous owner painted them in glossy paint, so both me and my husband wiped out on them the first time we walked on them with wet shoes. We put those gripper things on the stairs since then.

It's progressively getting worse outside... I can't even see across the street when the wind starts kicking up.

Today is Superbowl Sunday and it's raining so we are going to go shopping while everyone else is glued to the tube. We will be the only ones in the store after 3pm our time. Wonder if Costco will have lots of nice samples to munch on? We can check and see who is winning on their big tv sets.
Not into sports but since our Seahawks team is playing we have to peek in now and then.

Rugby is the sport to watch j.w. these guys dont wear all that padding that the football players do but your football is taking the UK by storm and theres a superbowl final in Wembley which the home of Soccer .

U gg !! Hubby made the decafe coffee and now I have to work so maybe I will hurry and make some real coffee!

That is why this house is a ranch with no steps inside to even the basement .Retired and want to enjoy it .But front porch was no choice since our property slopes down in the front .Back decks have only 1 step down .Inside of the house was built to handicap accessible standards just in case I was taking no chances

Decaf must have Java I need my coffee fix the stronger the better

Well with his heart problems doctor says decaf so next best thing is half regular and half decaf .Between the heart attack and being in the hospital 2 times with internal bleeding he has to watch ,so I watch for him .It took almost 5 pints of blood each time to fill his tank .I told him it cost more to fill his tank than it did to put gas in my truck .He got severe ulcer from the meds they were giving him after his heart attack .He died 4 times and he even said he felt the cold things on his chest and the shock came .Scared me when he went out after I got him to hospital and it happened in the wheel chair while I was taking him in .They wanted me to wait for an orderly to get him out of the truck .I wait for no man .They said it was against protocol ,to bad I was not waiting

Good thing you did what you did Sissy, lots of people die waiting ! Sissy you and I are very lucky to have our husband's here today! I am just so grateful for every day that he is happy and cancer free.

Hubby likes decafe cause it is better for his high blood pressure. I myself require large amounts of strong coffee to get me going, I can drink a strong cup of coffee and then fall right back to sleep I confess I am more addicted to strong dark roast coffee than anything else, even the green wacky stuff!! I can live without alcohol, and everything else, but HAVE to Have my Coffee!!

I see we are really warming by up and now only -6 Celsius {21 Fahrenheit}

I got hubby wrist blood pressure monitor and with all the things I have read to help lower blood pressure and cholesterol we are both at normal range now .I add extras to all of our food to lower both .High cholesterol triggers all kinds of other things that can go wrong .
