Went to bed and it was 5F Woke up to 43F.
Big swings.

I think Miss Spring is having a tug of war with old man winter and since she is younger and stronger I think she is winning .I hope

WOW weather channel says up near jw they are getting winds around 100 mph and heavy rains and flooding all the way down to Northern California .I hope every one is safe out there and snow up north here again .Be safe and warm and dry everyone in these bad areas

Yes, a number of semis were blown over while driving on the highways in southern Alberta yesterday from the strong winds.

We had the strong winds a couple of days ago and even to go down to the mail box was risky .Poor king Arthur lifted his leg to pee and wind gust knocked him over and he weighs 100 lbs .He looked at me like I did it .So far for us this has been a really mild winter .No snow but makes me think March may have a surprise in store for us .sneaky Mrs March .

40 degrees here right now and hopefully will get even a few degrees warmer since the sun is out! Every bit will help to melt some of the snow from last weekend. All the snow bogging down the tree branches finally melted or fell off this morning.

Well at least that is good since if it freezes on there it will weaken the branches more and more every day .It is already 50 and have to go to home depot either today or tomorrow .I am waiting for a guy to call me back about picking up concrete block he has to give way .I don't want to have to go that way 2 times since it is a 30 minute drive

She may have lost power, usually pops in earlier. At least they are on high ground.

44 here now, saying 54 tomorrow. then crawling back to the low 30's by thursday.

35°F today. That's the warmest we'll see for awhile. into the teens next week.

Daytime temps the last couple of days has been in the 40's. 44 here today, light rain on and off. Extended forecast in the 40's during the day and 30's at night. Ice on the pond is half melted and the snow is disappearing fast. Really nice to see my fish again. Haven't been able to see them all at one time, I'm so hoping they all made it thru the winter.

It is still 58 degrees here and picked up the block the guy was giving away and i think he can't count .He told me 15 of them and there were like 40 of them and now my arms feel like rubber and my hands hurt .But he wanted them all gone to day so he could back fill the area .

supposed to be nice again tomorrow and I still have a lot to do .Home depot run down and got all the block out of my truck before I went there ,I think I walked 10 miles today .The guy said I could get my truck right up to where the block were but electric was run under ground and not back filled so I had to carry 2 block at a time 200 ft to my truck and step over the ditch both ways
