Driving just saw 3 bald eagles near our house! I have never seen them here.

Haven't seen our pair lately, maybe they moved north! I'm glad they're gone. Water is crystal clear and the fish are up top looking for food.

Babacock state park West Virginia and if you are at the park make sure to go for a ride on route 60 heading west from the park for a magnificent water fall about 15 miles away. I have a pic i'll post later I just don't have one on this pc.

Here's what I've been doing today...and probably what I'll be up to for the next month. Cleaning and prepping the cabin for a new coat of stain.

The plastic was up to keep cleaner overspray off the pond.

worked 13 hives today, managed to almost get the last two done, but the body said NO!
Deep inspections which take a bit of time.

The weeds are getting taller and healthier!

Got soaked on my long wet walk today but heck it's worth it! Came home, warmed up, had some tea and dusted stuff. Now watching Blindspot while typing.

On day nine of my project... Second coat of stain on the front of the cabin and porch ceiling.

I hiked home. Road is ate up by the water, and a tree was washed over, but the heel toe express gets through just fine!

The water terraced the road by the culvert. There are two good rice fields created there now.

It’s raining again, we got out in the work truck to go get groceries, and by the time we got back, water was over the road again. Just shallow, but still. I’m back at my bosses, but the guys now have everything and then some to get them through until water drops enough to get out again. I miss my bed! And my pets.
