Tried string around a thumb tack, pinned it to the edge of the waterfall ledge, long enough to reach the water below, it works!

A visitor to the window by my indoor pond! Weather is cool and overcast, so it’s taken shelter there

Work week again, have to wear masks at work, again. Frustrated that others aren’t doing their jobs fully. The first two days back are the worst, I’m trying to play catch-up, those shifts are an hour shorter, and we get truck in. So, needless to say, it’s all frustrating. I’ve got to stop trying to do everything myself, but I don’t overlap others to teach them how to do things right, so all I can do is pass on to the boss that things need doing, and cross my fingers that it gets remembered to be passed on.

I just got star rank in Scouts BSA ( that is the new name ) :)

But now I have to think about getting a bunch more merit badges for life, not my favorite when you have to do it virtually, it just makes it like five times harder.

I think my animals are crazy. Ziggy apparently thinks he’s a bird, he likes to sit on my shoulders. Sky thinks she should be held and loved any time she’s not busy playing, new rescue cat has beef dubbed Diana, thinks her food bowl needs to always have food in it. Yeah, I can’t think of a single normal animal we might have!

Sigh. Another potential replacement assistant manager has quit. So I give up, but when I was texting my boss that I’d keep the job, just on overnights, trying to find a solution for my concerns about counting money when I’m in the store alone, the district manager was there and called me. She’s going to make a few minor changes, and I have to count money alone anyway. But I’m going to have a person to person talk with the boss. If things get as bad as they were before I tried to step down, I’ll find another job. She needs to stick with punishment when folks slack off. And communicate! Even just a note or text, being out of the loop till other employees fill me in is not good work skills. I suspect I’ll be looking for a new job by next year.

Sorry to hear all that @JamieB

This is what I did this last week.............we went to the boat to take care of lil bear keep him quiet after surgery.

Worked on finishing the varnish.............had a few wrinkles show up, guess will be sanding again.
Then started installing some new flooring in the stern of the boat. The floor was pretty slippery.

Looking a little red, was that as soon as he came home? Or a few days after?
A few days after he came home, it is not red now. He bruised up a lot, the vet warned me he would. He had to search for the testicles. He did have two hematomas, at the bottom of each row of stitches. They are absorbing now. He gets his stitches out Wednesday.

One tough little pup, a lot of work to keep him calm! No collar he has never even tried to touch the stitches.

Our fur friends have our hearts! We have been on guard with him he is so darn active, I have constantly checked the stitches to make sure they have not pulled, oozing etc. He is tired of being locked down.

We saw him trying to eat something white, turned out to be one of his baby teeth. He loves to go out at night and pounce on the crickets then eat them. I am stopping the eating per the net probably ok but some sites say they can carry a parasite.

The new wood looks nice, addy. I assume it lifts up to get to the engine (s)?

See the silver looking buttons, that is two of the hatches, the third is to the right. This is one I had up to get it covered. We have two 454 engines. There is another hatch is under the back seats.
