Good cooler day here also for bike riding and dragging home buckets of paint on the bike. Had to go back twice. Fortunately the givers of paint did not live far away as it was quite the balancing act

Your a brave woman, to put with the way the roads are, crazy drivers, potholes you're doing well carting around paint up on your bike. You had to get up out of bed, then up on your bike to go up the road. Put the paint up on your bike, peddle back up the road, then carry it up into your house, I bet you were up for a rest. The daily joker back to you.

@Tara Went for the ride first, about 25 miles round trip, then got the paint and went back and forth a couple times to get it. Only about a block away so not bad. Stuck one gallon in my saddle bag and another on the handle bars. The handle bar one was kinda tricky! While I was standing there talking to the people giving the paint away a driver went by us going like 60miles an hour on a 30 mile road! One must always have there eyes open and aware when either walking or riding and you have to be ready to bail out into a ditch at the last minute to save yourself

My therapy today is kitty cuddles, my little twin babies, Black with polydactyl paws, white ear hair, eyebrows, and random leg hairs so far. Their mommas milk dried up too soon, so I’ve been suplimenting them, they got to come in today and just cuddle. My pond needs more shade and some barley straw, it’s pea soup. I’ve got to finish getting the new hole dug so I can move it. I think I’ll have to just drain most that water off and start new.

We had rain! I look out at a wet porch, cats and dogs all lazing in the cooler temps, watching leaves fall across the road. My trees are saying autumn is on its way.

With the hours I’m working, my body is all jacked up as to my internal clock. I’m awake for no good reason, having coffee, pet cuddles, and catching up on pond news. I brought one of the kittens in so she could eat, the little calico we rescued from a tree, she woke my husband, and is now demanding pets from my dad. I love to watch cats go from “Ah a huge monster “ to “ahhh, my slaves!” For such a tiny cat, she has a big purr.

I have been retired since 2004 and still cannot sleep past 5 am .I tried fighting it but it does not work .I usually do not go to bed until after midnight and then end up getting up again and again because chihuahuas have to go potty and for some reason they can never go at the same time .They control my life ;)

Caught a glimpse of Mr Frog in the waterfall today trying to cool off. Also a two blooms at once and one bud on the way of my free from soil just tied down w/a rock water lilies. I swear I must only have yellow ones left as that is all that I see so far.

Jamie, I wish I lived closer to you! I would love to help take some of those furry darlings off your hands!
