@Tara Foot feels fine right now. Only went for an hour walk this time. Behaved myself which is unusual for me,lol! Later tonight will be the judge of how it liked the walk as it seems to take awhile to feel the effects. I did do some stretching on that leg and foot afterwards so maybe that will help. I'll do stretching off and on throughout the day and see how it goes.

Worked till 2, came home, have a bad tire, hubby is working on it, I found another cat dead, had to burry her, then swept the porch off to see about moving the pond set up. This is where I’m gonna move things to for the rest of the year, and now I’m working on the logistics of moving all the fish, mini pond, two tanks, plus plants. Any down time is spent playing kitty Mom, I’ve got 7 fighting for attention, 3 little ones still needing some milk, 3 around 8-10 weeks old, I’d have to check when their mom brought them up, and my orange rescue who’s about 4 months old but claims my lap like I’m his perch.

Good luck with the work Jamie! Hope you will have some help? Sorry about more cat deaths. How sad. Good for you taking care of needy kittens. I love cats too.

It’ll be bailing water, catching fish, moving fish in totes, filling fresh water, moving as much as I can of the old water. The mini pond isn’t too heavy, once the water is drained out! So I’m thinking I might set up a second one, just for the bait fish.

Snapped some pictures of my fishies, then I totally mucked up the pond pulling over grown plants out of the bog.

Like this one, red, white and orange. It was to close to the lens to be in focus.

Your fish look great, addy! Nice and fat!
Looks like there's lots for them to nibble on all day.
I seldom feed them, I try to give them a bit more this time of year. The hornwort loves growing in the pond.

How big are your biggest ones would you say?

This one is around 12 inches, it lives in the 1000 gallon pond. Without pulling out and measuring. In the big pond most of the largest are around 10ish inches.

This one looks around 10ish

The sunrise shubunkins (the white ones) they have transparent scales, seem to stay smaller.

2nd day of fall and it is a beautiful clear blue Texas sky day out there. Currently in the low 50s and highs are going to be in the 70s. I finally got my flexible PVC in to run from my pump to the bog. I have all the supplies I need to finish my pond and bog except coping boulders. I've been sick for the last 3 days though and still have a chest rattling cough along with congestion, shortness of breath and fatigue. Despite how I feel, I'm going to get out there and try to get some work done.

@addy1 I love your fish!
@Rex I didn't realize Fall had started until I read your post! I hope you feel better and keep posting your pond digging progress!
