the snap hinges and other parts of pvc I have never seen before and would be great for pond covers to be able to open and door to look in and are not expensive either

.Looks like a kestrel addy but must be a hawk of some sort because beak is to long

They live in our woods, always hanging around.
From what I can figure out it is a Cooper's Hawk. Always hunting in the yard.

I thought coopers hawk but it looked to big but that could just be the pic making it look big .We have 4 types of hawks here and amazed at their beauty .I have even seen the take smaller birds right out of the sky when they are hungry

We mainly have the coopers and we do have a falcon that shows up now and then.

I’m at work early, district boss might drop in, and I came in early, only to find a lot of what I came to do already done. Popped in late to check that things were done, to find a mess, after having pulled over half a shift that morning on my day off covering my boss, she was out, so just tired. I didn’t get to work on my fish/ mini pond at all on my day off.

View attachment 116412 View attachment 116412 I built a 5 stage biological filter for the new winter digs from an old parts bin tray. Wrapped some led lights around a old piece pipe and made it into a full spectrum light as I figure the plants were missing some red light. Added a aluminum gutter in front as a cover and boom a virtually free bio filter and light system. The bio system included a chamber for the lava rock from my water fall bio filter and two chambers with sponge one chamber with activated carbon and one with zeolite. Was a fun morning now get snow blower ready for what's to come.

misty cloudy sort of wet day, second to last market for the year.

foggy this morning but did not stop my sister and I at the flea market .Got 2 duck decoys for the pond for 4 dollars .Got the anti vibration pads for washer and dryer 2 sets for 5 dollars and also got more of the door seal stuff ,did my sisters doors and then did mine got a geese thing for 1 dollar and metal beehive for 50 cents fleas are great cleaned them good and put them in my pond.The eyes glow which are kinda creepy

We were at a church sponsored flea market/ yard sale, didn't find any of their stuff that we needed to add to our stuff. We were invited to sale honey there.

hit and miss sometimes addy ,But here seems that people just want money and sell everything cheap

Everything was cheap we just have way to much of our own stuff, don't really need more stuff. I need to purge stuff
