Really clever Whiskey boy! Love the way it falls so nice and smooth looking. Did you line that w/ rubber liner or just seal the wood or is it not necessary for some reason?

Box painted inside with rubber paint, so will the outer intime, as stone work going over box to match water wheel revamp

Hi all

Been awhile since i last posted, been nursing a twisted knee, still unable to bend as tendons painfull, been like this for over a week now.

Started yesterday on two finishing filters [skippys] will pack them with scourers pads with a single layer of wool sheet on top, one will be 40 mm inlet/outlet the return from my bio filter of k3, the other will be 50 mm inlet/outlet return from my shower unit split the other half of return feeds water wheel bay and quarantine bay.

There only 100 litres but use full to fit into small areas

I got barrels cut them just below first recess, this allows me to reuse as a lid, the rest is like a skippy build.

HI GANG

Ive been out of action for a while, due to a twisted right knee, which im glad to say is getting better, plus im very eager to restart on the finishing touches.

The quarantine tank is to be changed into a three sieve chamber to be fed by gravity from bottom drain [two outlets to bio filter and shower unit] plus the skimmer [one outlet].

THE SKIMMER
outlet to feed extra water to WATER BLADE [now totaling 18,000+9,000= 27,000 litres per hour] for spring, summer and autumn use. [shut off in winter as chills water]

THE ORIGINAL SIEVE
Athough worked fine, it was limited to all flow, flowing at one time and if i shut down a pump it would quickly fill up to water level of pond and flood sieve mesh, by seperating each pump and giving each pump its own water chamber , this will resolve issues..............[lessons learnt].

Will keep you all updated as i progress with pond.

Funny how the people who love snow are the ones who don't GET any! :grumble:

We appreciate the little bit that we get and when we do get dumped on it is drama to the max! They don't know how to drive around here when it happens and it is great for the body and fender repair shops
