My new catfish pond construction

More pictures of my Catfish desert pond.

Catfish are over 6 inches now and the Blugills have already had babies!
the plants are starting to fill in even in this 110 degree heat!

that is fantastic! if I had a yard that big I would want the same thing.

Great Job! I can't even imagine trying to level that much land here for a pond that big.

You are making it look like it has always been there, I love the edging, no rock necklace look.

A few pictures of my fish. I know my water is green 18 inch visability, but it is healthy. had to add a little acid my water is a little alkali at 9 and it takes a while to get enough plants to cover 50% of the pond but it's getting there.

You need some of my water lettuce. It will help clear up a lot of that green.

It has been 9 months so I thought I would show the progress.
I have a string across the pond to keep the hyacinth to one side. the blue bucket is my auto feeder for when i'm gone. My wife caught a 15 inch catfish the other day, sure tasted good.

My filter has 25 sediment socks then it goes into a drum with poly batting then to the stream
