If you look at my third pic that is how mine is done and it holds there just fine and pvc edging protects the inside of the liner from sun damage .The boards I put on the outside are there for the same reason and really don't need to hold liner as it stays put it's self .The top board is a 2by 12 and side one outside is a pressure treated deck board .It only needs to hold the top board inside and outside and does not need a lot of anchoring to each other

First, if you will, kindly translate. I have been crafting ponds for 20 years and have never heard the terms 'sleeper' and 'rebate' used in pond construction and have no idea what you are saying.
A sleeper is a beam used in raised pond construction and a rebate is a grove/notch in the beam

Here is a photo of a rebate, not my photo

Thanks. I did know that 'sleeper' was another term for railroad cross ties, but I have never heard of using them in pond construction because of the toxicity of the chemicals used as wood preservatives.

Agreed, I think the chemicals are not the best for the small creatures that my be drawn to the pond like frogs and such. I prefer rocks but then again I am a Mason ;)

Hi guys i cant seem to get me Oase AquaSkim 40 Pond Skimmer working

Its connected to the 2nd inlet of my jebao dual inlet 10000 eco pump

The one hose goes straight to my filter and the other goes to my skimmer with an extra valve close to the surface of my pond so i can turn it on and off when i require.

Does anyone no how this should be set up correctly because when i turn the valve on the pump that supplies the skimmer all sort of things mess up

What is the other inlet connected to? And what seems to 'mess up'?
