So, the camping site ... the table and chairs and grills, those were all supplied at the site you were at for your "freebie", I assume? That looks like a great table and chairs, far better than I've ever seen at a camp site.
They were made of that fake wood stuff people make decks of now. Very nice. If you join the time share you can use points to stay there or pay 25 bucks a night, or not join and pay 240 bucks per night to camp there. Cable tv, electric, propane and hot tub supplied. Heated pools, huge public hot tubs, free laundry. Nice but.............. the lowest would be 5000 points, at the cost of 14000, one time cost, but yearly maintenance of 1200. It is mainly a resort time share, no dogs allowed except in their two rv sites, one in virginia, one in florida, so not for us.

who has horse statues that are barely bigger than little tiny Missy?!
They were about 3 times her size, they look smaller, I would not let her get real close.

This was our camper in the site. The rv trailer towed real easy with our truck, could hardly tell it was there.

This is the first year since I've been in Canada we won't be camping on May long weekend. Kind of missing it. We decided no camping this year to save up for our USA trip.

Yep, Rod, my friend just bought a "trailer", and I keep calling it a camper. It's a pull behind, bumper hitch camper IMO. LOL I have a horse trailer with a "camper" in the front end of it. Before, we had a slide-on "camper" with a bumper hitch stock trailer. I guess it's what you grew up hearing and go with.
Wow, Addy, are you saying it would cost $14,000 to join that place? That cost of $240/night would be more than many hotels with all those amenities, right? I like going camping with my horses and camper in the front of their trailer, down to Shawnee National Forest, and it costs me $15/night including electric and water. :)

It is 14k to join at the cheapest amount of points, those points are used for hotel stays, rv stays, cruises etc. If you don't belong to the time share to camp there is 240 per night, in the rv site with the hot tub etc. 5000 points would get you about a week or less stay at a resort. It is a one time fee of the 14k, but then lifetime yearly maintenance fees those fees depend on how many points you use in a year. The more points you use i.e. the more times you go somewhere, the more your yearly fees are. They pushed the 20k package which would cost 29000 and around 2 k a year in maintenance for the rest of your life.

If you like to go to resorts, and use up your points you can up grade your points for more bucks, and higher yearly fees, etc etc. Can borrow from the next year points roll them over etc.

We call it our camper, home, thing, rv depends on what comes out when we are talking about it.

Is it just me, or is that VERY expensive to join and the yearly maintenance? Seems you are paying whether you use it or not, and if you use it, you will need more points, thus more money. They get you coming and going. I don't like time shares, though. My dad had one, us kids "inherited it" and then we all slowly one by one opted out, lost the money we had invested to the last sibling that kept it, and he could not sell it. We each used the time share one year or two before we were done and could not afford to stay in. I guess I would rather go someplace that has a nightly or weekly charge, and pay that. Soooo many camping places around here, although none of them have hot tubs on site. LOL Lots of them have lakes or pools, though.

lol and yes this one can be willed to your poor kids to take over the fees!

We used it as a chance to try out our new rv, made a list of everything we did not think of, before we head out for a more rustic situation................we made a long list lol.
We are parking it over near ocean city for the summer. 2.5 hour drive, near a lake. My dear honey loves water so it will be our water get away. We can canoe down a river out into the bay. Not sure if the river/creek could take a small boat if it can we might take one over.

Now that sounds like much more fun. I love anything having to do with the water, too. Maybe that's why I have two ponds in my back yard, and two aquariums in my house ... and like to scuba dive ... Um ... thinking you and I are alike in that respect. LOL

I get restless, need to have something to do, unless I get my nosed buried into a good book, then I can sit still. There is a heated pool there, around 82 degrees, catch and release fishing, boating on their lakes. Nature trails, close by ocean city, assateague island. chincoteague island. Once missy learns the rv is her other new home we can leave her for short spells. She can't be on the board walk or beach from 5/1 till 9/1 at ocean city.

Two lilies opened today, both in the small loop ponds, no clue how they lived the ice was to the bottom. They grow great in the slow flow fishless ponds, no fertilizer, no fish, just water and some aracharnis

CE this is how the well aracharnis is growing in the stream pond, it froze up like a ice cube.

I need to remember to check my arach tomorrow and see how it's doing! I keep forgetting ... put it in several different spots, to see if one was better than the other.
Oh, and my deep pink lily I am sure I got from you bloomed yesterday, too! There is a second bud above the water, so soon there will be two flowers. Wish the lilies would be still blooming when I got home from work at 5:30, but seems they are not fully open until about 9 (I leave for work at 8:30) and closing by 4-4:30.

I can't believe that everyone's lilies close up so early. Must be because it gets dark earlier and it is so much hotter there. I swear when mine bloom they last till 10-11 o'clock at night(still daylight).
